Teaching Personnel are working with a PRU in Bury St Edmunds that are currently looking a TA to join their team. The school caters for pupils that have been excluded from mainstream school due to their behaviour. Alongside this they can potentially have other needs such as:
Autism (ASC/ASD)
Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
ADHD
SEMH
This position would see you working with the pupils in small groups and/ or 1:1 to support them with their learning and use holistic approaches to de escalate challenging behaviour. Candidates that are suited for this type of school tend to have experience in some of the following:
Youth/Community work experience
SEN experience
Residential support/care worker
Sports coaching
Team Teach
Youth Offending Services
Challenging behaviour within family
Mentoring
Teaching/Learning support Assistance
Psychology
You must be able to drive and available Monday to Friday 08:30 to 15:30
You must have a permanent address in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
