Inspire Young Minds in a Unique Learning Environment

We are looking for a compassionate and confident SEN Cover Supervisor to join a specialist education setting in Christchurch, supporting students aged 11 to 16. This part-time role offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of young people who benefit from a tailored, therapeutic approach to learning.

The setting is a supportive and well-respected alternative provision that prides itself on its nurturing, inclusive atmosphere. Staff here work with a shared vision: to create meaningful outcomes for students who may have experienced challenges in mainstream education. You’ll be working alongside a team that values empathy, resilience, and creativity, supporting pupils with additional social, emotional, and mental health needs.

 

Your Role as a SEN Cover Supervisor

In this varied role, you’ll step in to support teaching and learning during staff absences across the school day. You’ll lead sessions, encourage engagement, manage classroom behaviour, and help pupils develop confidence and independence.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
