Supply Teacher

Are you an experienced and passionate teacher looking for a flexible role in Stockport? Teaching Personnel is recruiting a Supply Teacher to join our team, working in a range of primary and secondary schools across the area. As a supply teacher, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings, making a positive impact on students’ learning, even on short notice.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering lessons across different subjects and age groups, in line with the school’s curriculum.
• Adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of students.
• Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Ensuring continuity and progress in students’ learning during short-term assignments.
• Reporting back to the school on student progress and any issues that arise during lessons.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience working with primary or secondary age groups.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students in their learning.
• Adaptable and confident in managing a range of classroom environments.
• A passion for education and a positive, professional attitude.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willing to obtain one).
