Flexible Supply Teacher
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic supply teacher to join our team in supporting a wide range of secondary schools across South Manchester, starting in February after the half term.
As a supply teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring continuity of education for students when their regular teachers are absent. This is a temporary flexible position with no additional responsibilities such as planning and marking.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to students across various subjects and year groups (year 7 to 11).
- Following the school's curriculum and lesson plans to ensure consistency in education.
- Managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Assessing student progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborating with other teachers and staff to support student development.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent in any subject.
- Experience teaching in secondary schools.
- Strong subject knowledge across multiple disciplines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different teaching styles and approaches.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
