Spanish Teacher - Part Time - Nottingham

A mixed comprehensive 11-18 secondary school situated in Nottingham are currently seeking to appoint a part-time teacher to join their department to start in May 2021 until July 2021.

This position is due to a current member of staff on a long term sickness and the incoming teacher will be expected to plan, deliver and mark students' work. The school will appoint the successful Spanish teacher on a temporary basis who is able to commit to the duration of this position.

"Our languages department consists of seven teachers, who work collaboratively to ensure that all students are making at least the expected progress within languages. The successful teacher will be joining a successful team, will have their own classroom and will be supported throughout departmental meetings and planning sessions." Head of MFL.

The school have requested that the incoming teacher has experience planning, delivering and assessing differentiated work to Key Stage 4, and is willing to partake in departmental responsibilities for planning, marking and attending meetings.

Situated near a short distance away from central Nottingham, our partner secondary school is large in size with approximately 1700 students on roll. Access to the school can be obtained via the A52. There are also an abundance of public transportation links that lead to the school from Nottingham bus station.
