Job description

Maths Teacher – High School in Camden

The PWR team at Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted-graded ‘Outstanding’ high school in Camden to recruit a passionate and skilled Maths Teacher for a permanent role starting in September 2025 (or Easter for the right candidate).   • Location: Camden, London
  • Start Date: September 2025 (or Easter for the right candidate)
  • Salary: MPS/UPS (Potential TLR for the right candidate)

The Role:

  • Teaching Maths across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential to teach A-Level Maths for experienced candidates
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons that challenge and engage students
  • Supporting students in exam preparation, intervention, and individual learning needs
  • Promoting a love for mathematics and its practical applications in everyday life
  • Contributing to the Maths department’s curriculum development and innovative teaching methods

The Ideal Candidate Will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
  • Have experience teaching Maths at secondary level, ideally with GCSE and/or A-Level experience
  • Be passionate about Mathematics and capable of inspiring students to reach their full potential
  • Possess strong classroom management skills and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment
  • Be keen to engage in continuous professional development and contribute to the school community
