Guaranteed Work Scheme for Full-Time Teaching in Newcastle – April Start

If you’re looking for consistent work as a teacher in Newcastle starting this January, our Guaranteed Work Scheme (GWS) with Teaching Personnel is here to offer you security and flexibility.

Here’s how it works:

1. Full-Time Teaching Work
You’ll have full-time opportunities from Monday to Friday, covering a variety of roles that match your experience and preferences. This could include teaching your specialist subject, covering PPA time, or stepping into intervention roles. All work will be within a reasonable travel radius from Newcastle.

2. Guaranteed Pay
Even if a placement doesn’t come through on a specific day, you’ll still get paid for your agreed number of days each week. The daily rate will depend on your experience and qualifications but typically ranges between £120-£150 per day.

3. What You’ll Need to Do
To keep things running smoothly, you just need to:

  • Be available and ready to work during agreed hours.
  • Stay flexible about the schools and roles you’re placed in.
  • Let us know as soon as possible if you’re unavailable (e.g., due to illness).

4. Extra Perks
We’ll support you every step of the way with:

  • Ongoing training: Free or low-cost CPD courses, including safeguarding and classroom management.
  • Dedicated consultant: Someone you can contact whenever you need advice or updates.

5. Getting Started
Here’s what happens next:

  • We’ll guide you through registration, including DBS checks and any other compliance steps.
  • You’ll join an induction session to make sure you’re confident and ready to hit the ground running.
  • Once everything is set, we’ll confirm your preferences, including the roles you want and how far you’re happy to travel.

By signing up, you’ll have the security of knowing you’re guaranteed work, with the flexibility to grow and adapt as a teacher in a variety of settings.

Want to take the next step or have any questions? Let us know, and we’ll help you get started!
