Location: Rawtenstall | Temp to Perm Opportunity | Full-Time Position
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM | £13.75p/h

We are currently seeking a dedicated Pupil Support Worker to join a supportive school in Rawtenstall on a temp to perm basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic and nurturing environment, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and group support for students to help them access the curriculum.

  • Assist students in overcoming academic or behavioural challenges.

  • Help develop and implement strategies to improve students’ engagement and progress.

  • Support teachers in managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment.

  • Encourage students to develop self-confidence, independence, and resilience.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, particularly in a school or educational setting (SEN experience is a bonus but not essential).

  • A compassionate and patient approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with students.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • The ability to motivate and inspire students, encouraging them to reach their full potential.

  • A proactive, flexible attitude and a passion for supporting young people.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
