Level 2 Teaching Assistant
- Secondary SEMH Provision
- Monday – Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
- £13.75 - £14.50p/h
- Full-time
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a specialist secondary SEMH provision in the Burnley area who aim to remove barrier to learning. They offer a personalised curriculum to aim to build a love for learning within education and equip the pupils for life after school.
As the children display challenging behaviours, these environments can be challenging, therefore, applicants must have a keen passion in supporting pupils with Social Emotional Mental Health.
The role
- Support pupils on a 1:1 basis when needed.
- Offer strategies to overcome high pressure situations.
- Assist the class teacher in maintain the classroom and resources.
- Assist on school transport when required.
- Have a good sense of humour with the stamina to re inspire the pupils into education.
- Ensure that the pupils are always on task and upholding all values of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
