We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our team and work across various primary schools in Bristol. As a recruitment agency that connects talented educators with local schools, we are seeking a reliable, flexible individual who can work with children in a supportive and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons to primary school children (ages 4-11).
- Assist with classroom management and ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to children who may need extra help with tasks or learning activities.
- Help with administrative duties such as marking, preparing resources, and setting up classroom displays.
- Encourage positive behaviour and support children with their social and emotional development.
- Work alongside a team of educators to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting (though not essential).
- A passion for working with young learners and supporting their development.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A proactive and flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to different classroom settings.

About Us:

In order to work for Teaching Personnel and clear our vetting process, you must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £38, plus an annual subscription fee of £13 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
