Salary: £13.75 - £14.50

About the Role:

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 academic support to a Key Stage 2 pupil with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at a 'GOOD' primary school in Bispham.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored 1:1 support to a KS2 pupil, focusing on academic development and personal growth.

• Assist the pupil in managing emotions and behaviors effectively.

• Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualized support plans.

• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Requirements:

• Level 2 or higher qualification in Teaching Assistance or equivalent.

• Experience working within a primary school setting.

• Previous experience supporting children with SEMH needs is preferred.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to build trusting relationships with pupils and staff.
