We are currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team and help make a real difference in the lives of our students.

About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic Education Studies Graduate who is eager to contribute to the development of young learners. As a Primary School Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting the classroom teacher in delivering engaging lessons, assisting with classroom management, and providing additional support to students who may need extra help with their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special educational needs (SEN).
  • Help with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Assist with the preparation of classroom resources and materials.
  • Support children with reading, writing, and numeracy tasks.
  • Observe and track children’s progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
  • Foster a positive and supportive relationship with children.
  • Promote inclusion, diversity, and well-being within the school community.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Education Studies or a related field.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their educational development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive and positive attitude towards challenges.
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.
  • Previous experience working with children (e.g., tutoring, volunteering, placements).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
