National Tutoring Programme
Teaching Personnel is an approved National Tutoring Programme (NTP) partner providing sustained tuition to disadvantaged students who have been impacted by the Covid-19 school closures.
We are now looking for experienced tutors to help provide this support to secondary aged students located in Central and South Manchester.
Successful tutors will be required to deliver tuition programmes (15 hours per pupil) in the following KS3 & KS4 subjects:
- English
- Maths
- Science
- Humanities
- Modern Foreign Languages
Tuition will be delivered 1:1, 1:2 or 1:3 face to face or online with the preferred method being 1:1 face to face.
All Tutors will need to complete an NTP Tutor Onboarding Pathway including completion of a minimum of three modules on our Effective Tuition CPD Course, a Safeguarding Level 2 qualification and induction to the relevant tech.
To apply for this position applicant must:
- Be located in South Manchester.
- Have experience tutoring one or more of the relevant subjects at KS3 & KS4 level.
- Be a qualified teacher, graduate or experienced teaching assistant.
- Be available to deliver regular consistent tuition.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
