Fully Qualified Maths Teacher, Trafford

Location: Trafford, Greater Manchester

Position: Temp-to-Perm

Salary: In line with Teacher Pay Scale, £31,650 to £49,084.

About the Role:
Teaching Personnel is seeking a Fully Qualified Maths Teacher for a well-regarded secondary school in Trafford. This is a temp-to-perm position, giving you the opportunity to become part of a supportive team and transition into a permanent role after the initial period.

As a Maths Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping them develop their mathematical skills and understanding. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and the ability to inspire students to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum
• Assessing and tracking student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Managing classroom behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
• Collaborating with the school’s leadership team and other staff
• Keeping up to date with developments in mathematics education
• Offering support to students both inside and outside the classroom to help them build confidence and succeed

Requirements:
• Fully Qualified Maths Teacher with UK QTS
• Proven experience teaching mathematics at secondary level (Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4)
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A passion for teaching and motivating students
• A commitment to creating a positive learning environment and supporting student progress
• Enhanced DBS check (Teaching Personnel will assist if required)
