Science Teacher

About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher to join a modern Secondary School in Rochdale. Ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Biology, Physics and Chemistry and inspiring students to develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Science lessons to students of varying abilities.
• Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and academic growth.
• Utilise innovative teaching methods to enhance student engagement.
• Participate in departmental meetings, training, and school activities.

Requirements

• A degree in Science, Education, or a related field.
• A teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Previous experience teaching Science at Secondary level is preferred.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for education.
