Mathematics Teacher – Full-Time Role (September 2025 Start)

Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS (£31,650 – £49,084) depending on experience

A vibrant secondary school in Bolton is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time permanent role, ideal for both experienced educators and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to begin or continue their journey in a supportive and forward-thinking school environment.

The Role:

  • Teaching Mathematics across Key Stages 3 and 4

  • Full responsibility for planning, delivering, and assessing engaging Mathematics lessons that support all learners.

  • Working as part of a collaborative and supportive Mathematics department that values continuous improvement and student success.

  • Supporting pupils’ progress through effective classroom management, differentiated teaching, and data-informed interventions.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK – applications from ECTs are welcomed.

  • A strong subject knowledge and passion for teaching Mathematics.

  • Effective classroom management and a commitment to high standards of teaching and learning.

  • Ability to motivate, inspire and build strong relationships with students and colleagues.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
