Job description

I am looking for educators in Harlow, who are experienced in working with KS3 and KS4 students, in core academic subjects (English, Maths and Science).

 

What the role entails:

  • Working with a child, providing face to face support within their home or local library, in a 1:1 format.
  • Assess the child’s current learning level and plan engaging lessons / sensory sessions accordingly.
  • Planning resources around the child’s needs, this could be on developing their knowledge in Maths, English and/ or science.
  • Establishing and building a rapport with the child.

What we are looking for in a tutor:

  • SEN and SEMH experience.
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging, nurturing sessions tailored to the pupil’s learning level.
  • Assessing and track the pupils progress to achieve their desired learning outcomes and provide feedback.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
