What is outreach tuition?

I am looking for motivational tutors to support young people in Harlow and surrounding areas. I work closely with Local Authorities to support young people with SEN and SEMH needs, who struggle to access mainstream school.

Our educators need to be passionate about supporting young people on a 1:1 basis; creating a safe and judgement – free zone, where they feel confident in their learning. We deliver tuition with the aim of bridging gaps in their learning, boosting their confidence by providing a bespoke personalised tuition programme.

Our outreach tuition is effectively in place to provide an alternative education offer, other than school as this is often inaccessible for them. This means that most of our tuition takes place during school hours.

What we look for in tutors:

At TP, we encourage applications with backgrounds from both Primary and Secondary, as we provide tuition for EYFS young people all the way to Post 16. We have an ongoing high need for tutors in English, Maths and Science (as well as non – core subjects).

It is essential that our tutors have experience and are confident to support SEN and SEMH needs. We require our educators to create stimulating lessons tailored towards these needs and interests.

Benefits of Teaching Personnel:

  • You will have you own dedicated consultant helping you to find your perfect role, and support you.
  • We offer highly competitive rates of up to £30 per hour.
  • You will gain exclusive access to our CPD Academy.
  • Flexible work schedule means you get to be in charge of your own timetable, accepting as much as a little work as you’d like!
