Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor

Location:

East of England, Essex, Harlow

Job Duties:

The English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor will be responsible for delivering high-quality tutoring sessions to Key Stage 3 students in English and Maths. This includes developing tailored lesson plans, assessing students' progress, providing feedback, and supporting students to achieve their academic goals.

Required Qualifications:

A relevant teaching qualification

Education:

A degree in Education or related field

Experience:

Previous experience in tutoring or teaching KS3 students

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional qualifications in English and Maths

Working Conditions:

This role will involve working with students in a school OR home setting, with the possibility of some remote tutoring. The tutor may need to adapt to different learning styles and provide support to students from diverse backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
