Job Title: English and Maths KS3 Intervention Tutor

Location: East of England, Essex, Witham

Job Type: Temporary, expected to work Part-Time hours

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Provide targeted English and Maths intervention sessions for Key Stage 3 students
• Create tailored learning plans to address individual student needs
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Specialism in English and Maths

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in English and Maths (UK curriculum)
• Experience working with Key Stage 3 students

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum
• Ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in using various teaching resources and technology
• Experience in delivering targeted interventions

Working Conditions:

• Part-Time hours, flexible schedule
• Work in a learners home setting or local library
• Collaborate with other educators and support staff
