Job description

We are looking for educators to work with young people on a 1:1 basis, to deliver stimulating sessions to help them bridge gaps in their learning and reengage with learning. You would be teaching young people who currently are not accessing mainstream school. They may not be able to access school because of: SEN needs, SEMH, challenging behaviour or if they are a Looked After Child.

Our roles would be best suited to: Fully Qualified Teachers, Higher Level Teaching Assistants, Learning Support Assistants, SEN and SEMH specialists.

You will be responsible for creating resources and delivering sessions tailored towards the individual learners needs and interests. After each session, you will also complete a session report detailing how the session went; helping us to ensure that tuition is having a meaningful impact on their learning journey.

I am looking for educators in Great Dunmow, and surrounding areas, to work with Secondary school aged children (KS3).

 

What our roles look like:

  • Planning and delivering engaging 1:1 lessons for students in core subjects (English, Maths and Science) or life skills.
  • Tailor sessions towards individuals learning levels and interests.
  • Create a positive learning environment to encourage student growth and development.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback using our bespoke learning portal. 

Requirements:

  • Teaching qualifications and/ or teaching experience
  • SEN experience is desirable.
  • A valid Enhanced DBS certificate (on the update service) or willingness to obtain one. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
