Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Outreach Tutor

Location: East of England, Essex, Maldon

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description

Job Duties:

- Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students preparing for their English and Maths GCSE exams

- Develop personalised lesson plans based on the individual needs and learning styles of each student

- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly

- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff to provide feedback on student performance

- Keep accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress

Required Qualifications:

- A degree in Education or a related field

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Experience teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level

Education:

- Degree in Education or related field

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English and Maths at the GCSE level

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of the GCSE curriculum for English and Maths

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students

-Proficient in keeping accurate records and monitoring student progress

Working Conditions:

- Part-time hours, flexible schedule

- Temporary position with the possibility of extension

- Work location in Maldon, Essex

- Ability to travel to student homes or other designated tutoring locations

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
