Job description

GCSE Intervention Tutor

TP Tutors provide outreach intervention tutoring for young people who are not accessing mainstream education. We offer 1:1 tuition in learner’s homes, local libraries and schools.

I am currently looking for Fully Qualified Teachers, HLTA and SEN specialists to work with GCSE students, in English and Maths, in Witham.

Job Duties:

  • Teaching young people on a 1:1 basis, in GCSE English and Maths, following the UK National Curriculum
  • Deliver stimulating resources to young people, which are tailored to their needs and interests
  • Build rapport with students to help them engage with learning
  • Write session reports for every session, to monitor the progress, engagement and learning.
  • Must have SEN or SEMH experience, as you will be working with young people who have SEN, SEMH needs and potentially challenging behaviour.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
