KS3 Intervention Tutor

At TP Tutors, we work closely with Local Authorities to support young people who are not accessing mainstream education. We offer 1:1 tuition in learner’s homes, local libraries and schools.

I am currently looking for Fully Qualified Teachers, HLTA and SEN specialists to work with KS3 students, in English and Maths, in Chelmsford.

The young people we support, have SEN and SEMH needs and may have challenging behaviour. Such as:

• ASD
• ADHD
• Severe Learning Difficulties
• Global Development Delay
• SEMH – Anxiety, Depression, Trauma

Therefore, you must:

• Have experience working with SEN or SEMH needs.
• Confident in working with young people who have challenging behaviour, on a 1:1 basis.
• Plan and create your own resources for each session, tailored towards the young person’s needs, current learning levels and interests.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
