Job Title: English and Maths GCSE Intervention Tutor

Location: East of England, Essex, Chelmsford

Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time

Primary Industry: Education and Training

Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description

Job Duties:

  • Provide tailored English and Maths GCSE intervention sessions to students
  • Assess students' learning needs and develop personalised learning plans
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to improve students' understanding and grades
  • Monitor and track students' progress, providing regular feedback and support
  • Collaborate with other educators and parents to ensure students' academic success

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in teaching English and Maths at GCSE level
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds

Experience:

  • At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of the English and Maths GCSE curriculum
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their academic goals

Working Conditions:

  • Part-Time role with flexible hours
  • Work primarily in educational settings such as schools or libraries or learners homes
  • May require travel to different locations to conduct tutoring sessions

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
