Job Title: GCSE Intervention Tutor

Job Description

Job Duties:

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students needing assistance in English and Maths GCSE
• Create and implement individualised lesson plans to address each student's specific needs
• Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers to provide feedback on student's performance

Required Qualifications:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience in tutoring or teaching English and Maths at GCSE level

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of teaching or tutoring experience in English and Maths

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the GCSE curriculum in English and Maths
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students
• Experience working with students with learning difficulties

Working Conditions:

• Part-time hours, flexible schedule
• Opportunity to work in a supportive and collaborative educational environment (learners homes or local libraries)
