Are you a qualified teacher seeking a flexible and rewarding teaching opportunity in the Glossop area? Teaching Personnel is looking for passionate, adaptable educators to join our team as supply teachers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Step into different classrooms to deliver pre-prepared lessons across various subjects, maintaining student engagement and continuity in learning.
  • Create a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a productive and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom, where students feel encouraged and motivated to participate.
  • Adaptability: Quickly adjust to different school settings, curricula, and student needs. You will be working in a variety of schools, so flexibility and a proactive approach are key.
  • Maintain Classroom Discipline: Ensure effective classroom management to facilitate a productive learning environment, addressing behaviour issues promptly and maintaining a positive classroom tone.
  • Collaborative Support: Work closely with other staff members, sharing insights and strategies to enhance the learning experience and provide continuity during teacher absences.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): You must hold a QTS or equivalent teaching qualification to be considered for this role.
  • Strong Communication Skills: You should be able to communicate effectively with students, staff, and leadership teams, building rapport quickly.
  • Classroom Management: Demonstrated ability to maintain discipline and keep a classroom running smoothly, ensuring all students stay focused and engaged.
  • Flexibility and Initiative: The role requires a high level of flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to take initiative in new or unfamiliar settings.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
