Are you a passionate and imaginative Art Teacher eager to inspire students through creativity? Teaching Personnel is excited to collaborate with a warm and inclusive secondary school in Glossop seeking an enthusiastic Art Teacher to lead their art curriculum.

About the Role:

• Start Date: January 2024
• Contract: Full-time, fixed-term (maternity cover)
• Pay Rate: £162–£251 per day (dependent on pay scale and experience)
• Plan and deliver engaging and thought-provoking Art lessons for KS3 and KS4 students.
• Support students in developing technical skills in various media, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and digital art.
• Encourage critical thinking and self-expression through creative projects and art analysis.
• Contribute to whole-school initiatives, such as displays, exhibitions, and community events.
• Work closely with the Art Department to ensure the curriculum meets the needs of all learners.

What We’re Looking For:

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Art in a secondary school setting.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
• A commitment to fostering creativity and confidence in all learners.
• Exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills.
