Job description

Starting your career in teaching can be a difficult task as you try to make yourself stand out from the crowd! We understand when you leave university, finish your final placement, or leave your teaching school it can be a daunting task trying to land a permanent teaching role – where do you start?
Gaining regular, hands-on experience with Teaching Personnel could be the vital experience you need to secure your dream, first teaching role.
Teaching Personnel are the UK’s leading education recruitment agency who have placed thousands of teachers into short-term, long-term, temporary, and permanent teaching roles since we began in 1996.
We are looking for early career/newly qualified teachers (both primary and secondary) who are committed and driven to starting their long-term careers and making an impact in teaching to work across numerous schools in the Hampshire area.
Working with Teaching Personnel can give you the flexibility to be in control of when and where you work with many other benefits:
- Choose to work anywhere from 1 – 5 days a week;
- Specify your favoured locations for travel;
- Work part-time, full-time or day-to-day - whatever suits you;
- Specify your preferred Key Stage from EYFS to Post 16
- Competitive rates of pay between £100 - £150 per day;
- Earnings paid weekly;
- An abundance of work in a variety of “Good” and “Outstanding” schools;
Ultimately, Teaching Personnel require hard-working and enthusiastic teachers who are open-minded to working in a variety of school ready to jump straight into positions we have available.

We have great relationships with all our schools, who are willing to accommodate your needs and provide additional learning and support in the form of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Teaching with Teaching Personnel can lead onto further job opportunities as many of our short-term vacancies lead directly to longer term roles within the same schools.
Teaching Personnel can provide you with the classroom experience needed to secure long-term permanent teaching positions!
