Job description

Are you a recent graduate looking to gain classroom experience? We are seeking Graduate Cover Supervisors to join secondary schools in Basingstoke from November 2024. Schools are in need of additional support staff, providing you with an excellent opportunity to build experience in the education sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and deliver pre-prepared lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
  • Ensure students are engaged and participating effectively in lessons
  • Maintain classroom management and enforce behaviour policies
  • Support students of varying abilities, ensuring a smooth and productive learning environment
  • Develop your classroom management and leadership skills

Position Details:

  • Full-time and part-time roles available, depending on your availability
  • Suitable for graduates, unqualified teachers, and experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs)
  • Gain valuable experience for a future career in teaching or education

What We Are Looking For:

  • Graduates with a passion for education and working with young people
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to manage classroom behaviour
  • No prior teaching experience necessary—training and support provided

Requirements:

  • UK residents only
  • A DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check will be required for this role
