Job description

Are you looking to gain classroom experience and make a positive impact on young people’s education? Teaching Personnel is seeking dedicated Cover Supervisors to work in secondary schools across Basingstoke, starting from January 2025.

About the Role:

  • Provide classroom cover across a variety of subjects for Key Stage 3 and 4 pupils.
  • Supervise and support students in the absence of their regular teacher.
  • Manage behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Ideal for graduates or experienced Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) looking to develop their teaching experience.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for working with young people.
  • Ability to manage classroom dynamics effectively.
  • Applicants must be UK residents with the right to work in the UK.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
