Cover Supervisor

Location:

North West England, Greater Manchester, Droylsden

Job Type:

Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Job Duties:

  • Supervise students in the absence of a teacher
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and provide support to students
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required
  • Communicate any issues or concerns to relevant staff members

Required Qualifications:

  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics
  • Previous experience working with children or young adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics

Experience:

Previous experience working with children or young adults

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively
  • Basic understanding of educational principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Higher education qualifications in a relevant field
  • Training in classroom management techniques

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a school setting
  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday
  • Potential for additional responsibilities and training opportunities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
