Secondary School Cover Supervisors – Bolton, Bury & Salford

Are you looking to gain valuable classroom experience, develop your confidence, and make a real impact in local schools?

We are currently working with a range of secondary schools across Bolton, Bury, and Salford who are seeking reliable and motivated Cover Supervisors to join their teams from May onwards. This is an ideal role for graduates, aspiring teachers, or anyone with a passion for working with young people.

Cover Supervisors step into lessons when teachers are absent, ensuring students remain focused and engaged with their learning. All lessons and materials are pre-planned – your job is to deliver them confidently, maintain order in the classroom, and support students throughout the day.

We are keen to hear from people who are:

  • Confident managing groups of young people

  • Professional, punctual, and enthusiastic

  • Experienced working with children or young adults in any setting

  • Interested in a career in education or youth work

  • Able to provide an Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply for one)

  • In possession of two references from recent employment or education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
