Classroom Supervisor

We are working with a secondary school in Rochdale, seeking a full-time classroom supervisor to assist them across a range of requiring departments within their school. You will start this June, in a full-time position covering a 1-year maternity. Our outstanding school holds state-of-the-art facilities as well as personal development opportunities for staff to progress in their career.

Our schools hold excellent progression opportunities, including ‘temp to perm’ contacts and ‘future teacher programmes’ which will help staff progress in a future teaching role. Experience is essential for this role, ideally those who have previously supported students in a similar role.

The school have accessible public transport routes nearby, with on-site parking for all staff.

Main duties:

• Managing classes of students up to 30, maintaining behaviour and ensuring classwork is complete
• Prepared to support teachers across a range of departments
• Supervise pupils, ensuring they are working on set work.
• Carry out pre-prepared exercises.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
