Cover Supervisor – Secondary School – Tameside

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a large secondary school in Tameside to recruit a Cover Supervisor to start as soon as possible. This is a full-time role with the potential for long-term placement or permanent opportunities for the right candidate.
The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons to classes across Key Stage 3 and 4 in the absence of the regular class teacher. You will manage classroom behaviour, support students with their learning, and ensure a calm and productive learning environment.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience working with secondary-aged students (school-based, coaching, tutoring or youth work)

Strong behaviour management and communication skills
-
Confidence leading a class and supporting students’ progress
-
A flexible, proactive, and positive attitude
Desirable:
-
A degree in any subject or a background in education
-
A desire to progress into teaching or school support roles

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
