A secondary school in Manchester is looking for a Behaviour Specialist Teaching Assistant to work with students who require additional behaviour support. This is a vital role in ensuring that all students have access to a safe and productive learning environment.

The Role:

• Supporting students with behavioural difficulties, helping them to engage positively with learning.
• Implementing behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
• Working closely with the SENCO, pastoral team, and class teachers to support student progress.
• Helping to create personalised strategies for students who require additional interventions.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people with behavioural challenges.
• Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques.
• Resilience, patience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
