We are currently looking for an ASD Teaching Assistant within the Liverpool area with experience supporting pupils who have additional learning needs, particularly students on the autism spectrum.
You will need to be enthusiastic, committed & flexible, as well as having the ability to maintain calm, positive direction when under pressure.
Key requirements:
- Strong understanding of: Autism (ASD), ADHD, and SEMH.
- First-hand experience supporting SEN - Personal or within a class room environment
- Must be confident in handling behaviour - Firm but fair
- You must be a creative and caring individual that is willing to go above and beyond for the pupils
- You will be working Monday - Friday between the hours 8:30am- 4pm.
In order to be suitable for this role you will need
- Child Workforce DBS on the update service
- Proof of EWC
- 2 x Successful References

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
