The Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher who will inspire, engage, and challenge the pupils. You will be responsible for delivering a high standard of education across a variety of subjects, ensuring that each child reaches their full potential. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and proactive educator, dedicated to creating a classroom environment where children thrive and are able to adopt a love of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver inspiring and challenging lessons for Year 5 pupils across a range of subjects.
  • Assess and track pupils' progress, using data to inform planning and ensure every child achieves their best.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment where students are motivated and confident learners.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices, resources and ideas.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and guardians, providing regular feedback on pupil progress.
  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 is desirable but not essential.
  • A strong passion for teaching and a commitment to delivering high-quality education.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and collaborate with colleagues across the school.
  • Enthusiasm and a growth mindset.
