Job description

At Teaching Personnel, we are working closely with a school in Little Lever that is actively looking for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher to join their team. This school is committed to building an inclusive and effective learning community, where staff collaborate to inspire and support one another. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time position (8:30 am - 3:30 pm), starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching experience.
  • Participate in professional development to improve teaching practices.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong understanding of current educational trends and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using technology to enhance learning.

Required Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience teaching Year 5 or working with early career students.
  • Strong classroom management skills.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
