Year 5 Teacher Needed!
Start Date: September 2025
Daily Pay Rate: £130 - £180 (Pay-to-Scale)
Location: Wigan, M46
Contract: Full time, Temporary (With a Golden Handshake offer of £100 upon securing a permanent position)
We have an exciting opportunity coming up for a Fully Qualified Year 5 Teacher to join an inclusive, welcoming and easily accessible school just off the A577 in Atherton with “A positive reputation for embracing and celebrating every kind of achievement.”
This primary school is part of a wider group of schools under the leadership of the Education Partnership Trust who “have a vision to create outstanding schools which transform learning, lives and communities”.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have a Child Workforce DBS on the update service
- Must have UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
- Have a UK address and the legal right to work in the UK
- Be capable of maintaining high expectations of behaviour and achievement
- Have strong knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum
- Be a team player who enjoys collaborating with colleagues to constantly improve student outcomes

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
