Year 3 Teacher – Maternity Cover (Easter Start until End of Year)

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for a new opportunity? We are seeking a Year 3 Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting Easter and running until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons for Year 3 students, in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Support students’ learning and development, ensuring each child reaches their full potential.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning throughout the maternity cover period.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Previous experience teaching Year 3 or within Key Stage 2 is desirable.
  • A passion for helping children learn and develop.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • The ability to adapt to different school environments and work effectively as part of a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
