Year 5 Teacher – Blackburn


Primary School Key Stage 2 Role


This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and skilled Key Stage 2 (KS2) teacher to join a dedicated team within a well-resourced and supportive department. The position is based at a primary school located in the heart of Blackburn.
We are seeking a teacher who:


• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has at least one year of experience teaching in a UK primary school within a KS2 classroom.
• Has a proven track record of planning and delivering engaging and high-quality lessons across the curriculum, demonstrating a clear understanding of the role of data analysis in improving pupil outcomes.
• Inspires pupils and colleagues, showing enthusiasm, dedication, and a commitment to raising standards across the school.
• Effectively uses resources, including ICT, to enhance children’s learning and make lessons engaging and dynamic.
• Creates an inclusive learning environment, with the skills to support pupils with English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring all learners can achieve their potential.
• Keeps up-to-date with the latest teaching and behaviour management strategies and applies them effectively to promote excellent pupil outcomes.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
