About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teachers in creating an engaging classroom environment.
• Assisting children who need extra help with learning tasks.
• Leading small group activities and providing one-to-one support as needed.
• Responding to challenges with quick thinking and problem-solving skills, even without direct supervision.

What We’re Looking For

While previous classroom experience is a plus, it’s not essential. We’re looking for individuals who are:

• Confident working with small groups or one-on-one.
• Skilled in managing classroom behavior while fostering a positive learning environment.
• Caring, patient, and strong communicators with a calm approach to challenges.
• Motivated to inspire children and boost their engagement.
• Willing to complete online Safeguarding training.

You’ll also need to either hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced child workforce DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check, costing £57.80 if not already registered.

• Hours: Full day (8:30 am - 4 pm) or half-day shifts
• Rate of Pay: £85 - £95 per day
