Year 3 Teaching Assistant

A friendly and welcoming school in Bishopston is looking for an experienced teaching assistant to join them ASAP until the end of the academic year.

The role is to support a class of Year 3 pupils on a general cover basis. Your main duties will involve carrying out interventions on a 1:1 basis but also in small groups. You will also be responsible for providing feedback to the class teacher to ensure pupil progress is monitored.

The successful candidate will have:

• Have previous experience of working with children
• Previous experience of working as a teaching assistant is desirable but not essential

• Be passionate and enthusiastic to work with pupils within the school and enhance their learning
• Will be proactive and eager to carry out responsibilities.

Full assistance will be provided should you need to apply for a new check, at a standard cost of £49.50, plus an annual subscription fee of £16 for the Update Service.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
