Position: Teaching Assistant (1:1 SEN Support)
Location: Primary School, Bristol
Salary: £90 - £100 per day
Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday
Start Date: Immediate start available
Contract Type: Temporary (through recruitment agency)

Are you passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Do you have experience or a strong desire to make a difference in the lives of young learners? We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Bristol, supporting a pupil on a 1:1 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
• Assist the pupil in accessing the curriculum and engage in learning activities
• Foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment
• Support with emotional and social development
• Communicate effectively with the class teacher, SENCO, and other staff members
• Help with personal care and mobility if required

Requirements:

• Experience in a similar role or a keen interest in working with children with SEN
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A clear DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
• A positive and flexible approach to work
