Teaching Assistant – Tameside

Key Information:
- Start Date: January 2024
- Contract: Full-time or part-time
- Pay Rate: £85–£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support by assisting teachers in preparing lessons and managing resources.
- Work with students in small groups or on a one-to-one basis to ensure they reach their learning objectives.
- Foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Monitor and encourage student participation and progress.
- Support behaviour management in the classroom to ensure a focused learning environment.

- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with young people in a professional capacity.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to supporting students' varied needs.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
