SEN Teaching Assistant – Tameside

Location: Tameside
Start Date: January 2024
Pay: £85–£110 per day (dependent on experience)

What You'll Do:

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Collaborate with teachers and SEN Coordinators to adapt resources and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Promote independence and confidence in students with Autism, ADHD, or other additional needs.
• Support inclusive practices in the classroom to ensure every student thrives.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience with SEN students is preferred but not required.
• Empathy, patience, and excellent communication skills are essential.
• Understanding of SEN strategies or a willingness to learn.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
