Graduate Teaching Assistant - Secondary Schools (Tameside, Greater Manchester)
Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester
Start Date: After October Half-Term
Salary: £400 - £500 per week
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary
Are you a recent graduate looking to gain experience in education? Do you want a flexible role that allows you to make a positive impact in the classroom? We are currently seeking Graduate Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Tameside, starting after the October half-term.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students’ learning and development across various subjects.
- Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson delivery.
- Work with students aged 11-16, providing one-on-one or group support where needed.
- Help students remain focused and engaged during lessons.
Requirements:
- A university degree and a passion for working with young people.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic school environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
