Are you an experienced educator with a drive to help students excel academically? Teaching Personnel is recruiting for an Academic Intervention Specialist to provide targeted support to secondary school students in Tameside. This full-time role focuses on raising achievement through tailored interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver focused intervention sessions in core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
• Collaborate with teachers to identify students requiring additional academic support.
• Track and evaluate student progress to inform future planning.
• Use creative strategies to engage and motivate students.
• Provide tailored support to students preparing for exams.
• Help bridge gaps in knowledge for underperforming students.
• Work closely with parents and caregivers to ensure consistent support at home and school.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant tutoring/teaching experience.
• Expertise in one or more core subjects.
• Excellent communication and assessment skills.
• Ability to inspire confidence and a love for learning.
• A commitment to raising academic standards for all students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
