Behaviour Support Assistant – Tameside

Teaching Personnel is looking for a Behaviour Support Assistant to work with a fantastic secondary school in the Tameside area. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a challenging but rewarding environment and wants to help students overcome barriers to learning.
About the Role:
- Start Date: January 2024
- Contract: Full-time
- Pay Rate: £85–£110 per day (dependent on experience)
- Provide tailored support to students with behavioural challenges, helping them engage positively in lessons.
- Build trusting relationships with students and offer guidance to help them manage their behaviour effectively.
- Work closely with teaching staff and the school’s pastoral team to implement strategies for improved behaviour.
- Help create an inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported.
- Monitor and report on student progress, contributing to reviews of behaviour plans and interventions.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
